Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today isn’t a holiday in France of course, but Colin and I are lucky enough to have his parents here to celebrate with us. Although I should specify—here is Barcelona, Spain. We’re off adventuring again, taking them to explore a new city and country.

So even though our Thanksgiving will probably include more seafood than stuffing this year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few things I’m thankful for:

  • For Colin, who worked so hard to make sure we could come to France and is the only person in the world I’d want to share 18 square meters with.
  • For our friends and families, who didn’t blink an eye when we said we were moving abroad but instead started monitoring plane fares and embraced FaceTime and WhatsApp.
  • For Paris, which from the moment we arrived felt more like home than anywhere else.
  • For all of you who read my ramblings. 🙂

Much love and happy Thanksgiving (or happy November 22 for non-Americans) to you all!
